Air Travel Arrangements and Airport Transfers

Air Travel Arrangements

Conference funds will provide round-trip economy class airfare until conference capacity is full for each invited practitioner-investigator. Air travel reservations must be made through the conference organizers at Meetings Plus and completed by April 1, 2008.

Please note, the cost of the air travel ticket or change fee will be charged back to the attendee in the event the attendee cancels or does not show up at the meeting.

Airport Security Reminders

No liquids, gels, and/or aerosols are permitted EXCEPT one clear transparent re-sealable 1 quart (1 liter) size plastic bag which may contain liquids, gels, and/or aerosols in containers of 3 oz. (90ml) capacity or less per container. The plastic bag containing the liquids, gels, and/or aerosols must be completely closed/sealed and subjected to x-ray inspection separate from other carry-on baggage. In order to prevent a delay, be sure to remove the re-sealable plastic bag and place it in plain sight in the scanning bin.

For a list of prohibited items and exceptions, please click here for prohibited items on the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Web site.

All travelers must remove their shoes and place them on the X-ray belt when passing through the security checkpoints. For more information on screening, please click here for the shoe screening policy on TSA's website.

Electronic items are allowed and will be screened as usual.

Roundtrip Airport Transfers

Roundtrip airport ground transfers will be pre-arranged by the conference organizers. A staff member will greet you in the baggage claim area at the airport. (Look for the DPBRN sign!)

Upon receipt of your registration form our designated travel professional, Carol Montgomery, will contact you to arrange your travel or, if you prefer, you may contact Carol at cmontgomery@haynietravel.com or 800-422-0335.
